Most coaches fail at setting up successful business.
This is a defeat for the coach themselves, and a misfortune for all those they would have coached – all those lives that could have been lived better.
This is something I want to do something about.
It is not about competition from other coaches. It is true that there are more and more coaches around. What this means is evidence that coaching works and people are waking up to how valuable it is. So actually the more successful coaches that are out there, then the more likely it is that you will be successful. Every successful coaches raised the awareness of the value of coaching, and there are millions of people who want to improve their lives. Each powerful coaching conversation raises awareness among this huge pool of people who want to live better lives.
However, developing a successful career takes an investment of time, energy, commitment and money on your part.
But first, check out how you are doing on the PROSPER model for developing as a coach after your course. Rate yourself out of 10, and turn it into a Wheel of Life graphic. In which are do you need to develop?
